Interestingly, some things are interchangeable as long as the systems are from 1986-1988. For example, in my case, I have a 1988 piggyback chip connected to my 1986 mem calpak. And my engine is a 1986 L98. So I'm actually running it using 1988 specif

I was going to edit the previous post, but this probably deserves a separate post. On your IROC, if you can find a good mechanic, go ahead and drive 1 1/2 hours to take your car to him. I would also recommend that you get AAA Premier coverage that

Melissa, I'm looking at the pictures that Sandy posted on post #43658 on page 20. I am presuming that you sent the pictures in that post to Sandy and he put them up on the board. Are those photos taken of your car? I'm looking at the second pic, a

the EGR SES Light has been coming on for a while now. took it as a false positive since my other 91 Z tripped it all the time and it was a false positive. i haven't disabled it yet. when my friend read my chip he put it in backwards.... so it fai

M....How far are you from Worcester? The shop I went to there seemed fast, knowledgeable and reasonable. When I brought the iroc in on Saturday, by Monday afternoon, they were already tearing into my problem. They seem like a bunch of car nuts there.

I had a severe case of back firing because of a combination of burned spark plug wiring and a bad EGR valve....I think you mentioned your EGR is disabled? Or, perhaps the MAF sensor is causing the fuel curve to become too rich, allowing raw fuel to c
